1. Agreement to These Terms

By using this website, booking an appointment, or receiving services from Vines Hair Studio (“Vines,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or book with us.

2. Booking Appointments

• Appointments may be booked through our booking app, our website, by phone, or in person.
• An appointment is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from us or from our booking platform.
• You must provide accurate contact information so we can reach you about your appointment.
• You must be at least 18 years old to book. Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the appointment and payment.
• Requested times and barbers are subject to availability. We will do our best to accommodate preferences but cannot guarantee them.

3. Cancellations, Late Arrivals, and No-Shows

Appointments are subject to our Cancellation Policy, which is part of these Terms. In short: we require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule, and fees may apply to late arrivals and missed appointments. Please review that page in full before booking.

4. Pricing and Payment

• Prices for services and products are listed on our website and in our booking app and are subject to change without notice.
• The price that applies is the price in effect at the time of your appointment.
• Payment is due at the time of service. We accept the payment methods displayed in the studio.
• Prices do not include gratuity. Tips are appreciated but never required.
• Additional charges may apply for extra length, thickness, complexity, or add-on services. Your barber will discuss any additional charge with you before performing the work.

5. Services and Results

Our barbers are experienced professionals, and we work with you to reach the result you want. Hair type, texture, condition, length, and previous chemical treatments all affect what is achievable, so we cannot guarantee a specific outcome. If you are not happy with your service, tell us within 7 days of your appointment and we will do our best to make it right — typically with a complimentary adjustment by your barber.

6. Health, Safety, and Studio Conduct

• Please tell your barber about allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, or recent treatments before your service begins.
• We may decline or stop a service if we believe it is unsafe, would damage your hair or skin, or if a client is behaving in a way that is unsafe or disrespectful to our staff or other clients.
• Please arrive free of illness and in a condition to receive service. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is intoxicated or disruptive.
• Children and guests are welcome in the waiting area but must be supervised at all times.

7. Products and Retail Purchases

Unopened retail products in original condition may be exchanged or returned within 14 days with proof of purchase. For hygiene reasons, opened products, tools, and gift cards are final sale unless the product is defective. Gift cards do not expire, are not redeemable for cash, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

8. Photos and Media

We may photograph or record haircuts for our portfolio, website, and social media. If you prefer not to be photographed, just let your barber know before your service and we will respect that. Photos already published may be removed on request by contacting us.

9. Use of This Website

• All content on this website — including text, photography, video, logos, and the Vines Hair Studio name — is owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or used commercially without permission.
• You agree not to interfere with the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
• The site may link to third-party services, such as our booking app and social media pages. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Our website and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vines Hair Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or our services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service.

11. Privacy

Information you provide to us is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page. Booking an appointment or continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Kane County, Illinois.
