CANCELLATION POLICY

Our barbers are booked by appointment, and every reserved chair is time held for you. When an appointment is cancelled at the last minute or missed entirely, that time usually cannot be filled — so please give us 24 hours' notice whenever plans change.

24-HOUR NOTICE

Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment start time — no charge, no problem.

LATE ARRIVALS

Arriving late may mean a shortened or rescheduled service, and a late fee may be applied at your barber's discretion.

NO-SHOWS

A missed appointment with no notice may be subject to a no-show fee at your barber's discretion.

1. 24-Hour Cancellation Window

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment. The window is measured from your scheduled appointment start time — so an appointment at 2:00 PM on Friday must be cancelled or rescheduled by 2:00 PM on Thursday.

Cancel or reschedule inside that window as often as you need at no charge. You can do it through our booking app, by calling the studio at (630) 936-6151, or by emailing contact@vines33.com. We recommend the app or a phone call, since those reach us fastest.

2. Late Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment are considered late cancellations, and a fee may be applied at your barber’s discretion.

Rescheduling inside that same window is treated as a late cancellation, because the original time still goes unfilled.

3. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time — ideally a few minutes early. Your barber holds a set amount of time for your service, and running past it pushes back every client after you.

  • If you arrive late, your barber may shorten the service to fit the remaining time, and the full service price still applies.
  • A late fee may be applied at your barber's discretion when a late arrival cuts into the schedule.
  • If there is not enough time left to perform the service safely and properly, the appointment may be rescheduled and treated as a late cancellation.

4. No-Shows

If you do not arrive for a scheduled appointment and have not contacted us, it is recorded as a no-show. A no-show fee may be applied at your barber’s discretion.

After repeated no-shows, we may require a deposit or prepayment to hold future appointments, or decline to book further appointments.

5. Fees Are Set by Your Barber

Each barber at Vines sets their own late and no-show fees in line with their own pricing and schedule, and applies them at their discretion. There is no single studio-wide amount.

If you would like to know what your barber charges before you book, just ask them or call the studio — we are happy to tell you up front. The 24-hour notice window in Section 1, however, applies to every barber and every appointment.

6. Emergencies and Exceptions

Life happens. Illness, family emergencies, weather, and other genuine emergencies come up, and we handle those case by case. Contact us as soon as you can and we will work with you.

7. If We Have to Cancel

If we ever need to cancel or reschedule your appointment — illness, an equipment issue, or an emergency closure — we will contact you as early as possible, move you to the next available time that works for you, and no fee of any kind will apply.

8. Why This Policy Exists

Our barbers are paid for the time they work. A last-minute cancellation or a missed appointment is time that was reserved, turned away from other clients, and cannot be recovered. This policy protects our team’s income and keeps the schedule fair for every client waiting on an opening. Thank you for respecting our barbers’ time — we appreciate it.
